Summer Reading

Summer is a Time for Reading!!

We hope everyone is having a great summer.  A fantastic way to way to keep your mind in shape over the summer is to open a good book.  

 

To see the reading options for your grade level, please click on the tab for your grade near the top of this page.  The options for 7th and 8th grade are divided up for those students who will be taking Language Arts and those in either French or Spanish.  

 

It is the expectation that each student will read their chosen book by the start of the school year. In addition to reading, each student should complete a reading log including a parent signature verifying that the student did the reading.

It is very important that the reading book be completed prior to the start of school as the content of the book will be the basis for an in-class assessment. Students not having completed the book will be required to stay before and/or after school daily until they’ve completed their reading.
