Parent/ Community Night

Several times a year we organize a parent/ community event in which we highlight a topic related to substance abuse prevention. In these events we work closely with our community partners. For example in January 2020 we hosted a community event called “What You Need to Know about Vaping”, which was co-hosted by the Alliance for Community Transformations (ACT). Meanwhile our Youth Leadership Group plays an important role in these events. As mentioned earlier, on the most recent parent night they provided a presentation about the risks of Vaping, while they also displayed their digitally created vaping awareness poster.
